Hi Everybody

I received a prayer request from Shannon Brown for one of her co worker’s son and family. Her coworker, Kristy Yingling, had a son who was hit by a car last night and flown to Children’s Hospital in Pittsburgh. He has bleeding from his liver and spleen along with blood in his pelvis. They’re going to do more scans today to see how everything is, and presumably, to see if he’s going to need surgery.

Please keep this family and this boy in prayer. Pray that he will receive the treatment to restore him to health. Pray for the team at Children’s Hospital so that they will be on top of the situation and be able to assess the situation and determine the best treatment for this boy’s injuries. Finally, pray for the family of this boy as they worry and wait. Pray that the Lord would give them the peace that only comes from above.

We would like to begin passing the offering plates again on June 01, but we NEED ushers.  If you or your child would like to be an Usher, there is a sign up sheet for each month. We need 4 people for each Sunday.

There is a sign up sheet for VBS Snack Donations. Please purchase exactly what is listed.  Donations need to be at the church by Sunday June 08. Any questions, please speak with Kim.

Ladies Book Club Schedule is in the bulletin. Any questions, please speak with Carolyn.

Children’s Camp is July 21-25 at Rhodes Grove Camp & Conference Center. Early Bird Registration ends NEXT Sunday June 01. Final Registration date is July 06. More information is on the Bulletin Board.

There are prayer request forms in the foyer. If you have a prayer request for Sunday mornings, please fill it out and give it to Pastor Kevin or place in box provided. 

Missionaries Rodney & Sarah Reed will be here to speak THIS Wednesday May 21 at 6:30pm in the Fellowship Hall. Regular Evening Groups will not meet but are encouraged to attend the service. A Deputation Offering will be taken THIS Sunday and NEXT. There are envelopes in the Foyer. If writing a check, write “Reed Deputation” in the memo line.

Family Fun Night scheduled for May 23 has been CANCELED.

Hello everybody

I am sending out a quick message to let you all know that we will be hosting a special Deputation service Wednesday evening May 21 at 6:30 in the fellowship hall. We will be welcoming Missionaries Rod and Sarah Reed. They are serving in east Africa at the Nazarene University.

Since we are hosting them on a midweek evening, we will be accepting deputation offerings both this coming Sunday May 18 and the following Sunday May 25. Please if writing a check make it out to the church and include a note identifying Reed Deputation in your memo line. If giving cash place it in an envelope and write Reed Deputation on it.
