Prayer Request

Hi Everybody,

I received a prayer request from Adena for her office administrator’s sister in law, Melanie Berry. Melanie was pregnant and was taken to the hospital and transferred to Pittsburgh after her water broke. Her husband is in the navy and has been gone since December. She is alone and probably very scared and worried. She delivered 3 weeks early and both the mother and Baby are doing well.

We ask that you pray for this young family. Pray that the Mother and baby will continue to do well, and in good health; that they will be able to go home soon. Pray that the father is able to be come home to see his wife and newborn child soon.

Thank You

Pastor Kevin

Prayer Request

We received word yesterday from several sources that Scott Collins has been taken to the Altoona hospital and is in the intensive care unit after suffering what they believe to be a stroke. This medical emergency has caused him to lose function in his right arm and hand.

We ask that you keep Scott and his family in your prayers. Pray that the severity of this issue is able to be reversed and that he will regain use of his arm and hand. Pray also that he will make a complete recovery and that he will be home as quickly as possible. Pray also for his wife, Wendy, and his children; as well as, his mother; pray that they will be comforted and find hope in each new day through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Thank You

Prayer Request

Hi Everybody

I received word Tuesday that my Aunt Helen Allison, went to be with the Lord this morning. I have no details at this time and with everything the way it is I am doubting that there will be any public visitation or funeral service at this time.

However, we can celebrate for a life that was lived faithfully according to the word of God; and we can pray for this family who is left to mourn. Pray that they will find peace in this time of mourning. Pray that as they mourn the Lord would wrap his loving arms around them and bring comfort and joy back into their lives. Pray that they will be able to celebrate Helen’s life in a way that brings closure.

Thank You

Pastor Kevin

The Sermon can be accessed on Facebook at 10 am or on our website at ryotnazarene.org. Please remember to say who is watching with you for our attendance records.

Pastor Kevin is planning to Share in Communion on Easter Sunday on the CD or DVD and also on the Sermon on Facebook at 10 am. If you would like to participate, there are individually sealed cups and wafers available at the church. Please plan to pick up on a Monday, Thursday, or Friday between 9 am – 3 pm. If you are unable to pick them up, please call the church for other arrangements. If you are viewing from a distance, Pastor Kevin suggests buying a small bottle of juice and bread.

Update

Hi everybody,

Janice shared with me that at her office, they are now required to wear a face mask while there. There is also a need for others from our congregation and community who work in health care. Furthermore the CDC has advised people to wear a mask when in public. If anybody has extra materials or the ability to sew masks please contact Becky Hardy  at (814) 330-3168 and she can give you a pattern and details on how you can help in this effort.

Thank you

Pastor Kevin
