Weekly Announcements:

Good morning! These are the weekly announcements:

Our Easter Egg Hunt has been postponed. We are still planning to have it at some point. If you have Easter Candy Donations please keep them until further notice.

If you would like a CD or DVD of the Weekly Sermon, please contact Pastor Kevin or the church.

We will continue using Facebook Live for Our Prayers and Requests on Sunday Mornings beginning at 9:30 am.

The Sermon can be accessed on Facebook at 10 am or on our website at ryotnazarene.org. Please remember to say who is watching with you for our attendance records.

Pastor Kevin is planning to Share in Communion on Easter Sunday on the CD or DVD and also on the Sermon on Facebook at 10 am. If you would like to participate, there are individually sealed cups and wafers available at the church. Please plan to pick up on a Monday, Thursday, or Friday between 9 am – 3 pm. If you are unable to pick them up, please call the church for other arrangements. If you are viewing from a distance, Pastor Kevin suggests buying a small bottle of juice and bread.

You may mail your tithes/offerings to the church at 406 Dunkard Hollow Road Alum Bank, Pa 15521.  If you would like to drop off your tithes/offerings, someone is at the church Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays from 9 am – 3 pm. At other times you may slide your envelope between the front doors.

We will be collecting an Easter Offering for the next 2 Sundays. They can also be mailed or dropped off at the church.

Thank You and Have a Great Day!

Update

Hi everybody,

Janice shared with me that at her office, they are now required to wear a face mask while there. There is also a need for others from our congregation and community who work in health care. Furthermore the CDC has advised people to wear a mask when in public. If anybody has extra materials or the ability to sew masks please contact Becky Hardy  at (814) 330-3168 and she can give you a pattern and details on how you can help in this effort.

Thank you

Pastor Kevin

Prayer Request

Hi Everybody

I received a prayer request from Adena for the family of Helen Allison. This is not my aunt Helen Allison who attended the Ryot Church, but her sister in law who was married to Clark. She has been on our prayer list for the past few weeks. Helen passed away on the evening of April 1st. We ask that you pray for her family and that they will have peace in this time as they grieve. Pray that pleasant memories of Helen would be the ones that are remembered and held most dear. And pray that they will find the joy of the Lord in the days to come.

Thank You

Pastor Kevin

Prayer Request and Update:

Hi Everybody

I have a few prayer requests to pass along.

First Matt Miller sent me an update on his grandmother, Ina. The did remove Ina’s failed replacement hip. They had her up yesterday walking around and Matt said if all goes well they will be sending her home today.  We ask that you continue to pray for her healing. Pray for strength each new day; pray that the pain is bearable; and for her to be drawn close to the Lord in this time.

I also received a prayer request yesterday from Karen Draeger for her son Michael and his girlfriend, Heidi. Both work as EMS and Heidi was involved with the transport of a positive COVID 19 patient. This means Heidi is directly exposed to the virus and Michael has been indirectly exposed to the virus. They are both able to continue working though they must take precautions. If they begin to present symptoms of the virus then they will be isolated. We ask that you pray they do not contract the virus, and they would be protected from future exposure to it as well.

Pray for all of our EMS, hospital and medical staff, as well as our fire and police personnel, that they would also be protected during this time.

Thank You

Pastor Kevin
