There was a very bad accident on route 56 Sunday morning between two vehicles. Mick Ferguson was in a vehicle driven by his son Lenny when they collided with another vehicle. Lenny did not survive the crash and his father Mick was taken to Altoona UPMC. I have no word on Mick’s condition, however we have been asked by several persons including the fire department, to pray for Mick and his family. Pray that Mick will make a full recovery of his injuries and that he and his family will be able to properly grieve the passing of Lenny. Pray that as they mourn Lenny’s loss that they will be able to see past the tragedy and wait on the Lord for His comfort and healing. Pray also for the fire department who were hurting as a result of this accident. Mick and his family are very involved in the fund-raising efforts of the fire department. Pray that all will find hope, peace, and joy for each new day.

We received a prayer request from Adena Davis for Teri Ewald. Teri’s kidney function is declining and she is in need of a kidney transplant. We are asking that you pray for Teri to see her kidney numbers get back to where they belong. Pray that the Lord would provide her the medical care necessary to take care of this issue and resolve it. Pray also that in the days to come that she and her family would be comforted by the Lords grace and mercy.

We received a prayer request from Chris Imler for Vicki Miller, wife of Gary Miller and daughter of Cal and Betty Custer. Vicki was hospitalized in UPMC Altoona with a severe case of diverticulitis. They thought she was on the road to recovery when complications arose, she has a difficult time eating. Pray that the Lord would touch Vicki’s body and that she would make a quick and full recovery. Pray that while she is hospitalized, she would remain free of any other illnesses or complications. Pray that she would receive the best care and most of all that the Lord would bless her and her family during this time. Pray that the Lord would give them all patience, understanding, and confidence in the Lord.
