Hi Everybody

I received a prayer request from Lynn yesterday for her friend Stephanie’s mother. We had a prayer request for her a while back. As for her hip infection and pain she has made progress. However, she suffered a stroke Saturday evening and was incoherent. Please pray that the medical staff are able to sort out the issues she is facing and properly treat her needs. Also lift up her daughters so they may receive the peace and comfort at this time. Pray for healing and God’s will.

Hi Everybody

I received a prayer request from Penny earlier today for her cousin Josh Maish. Josh suffered 3 heart attacks yesterday and now is in the Altoona Hospital on life support, not showing any brain activity. We ask that you would pray for Josh to be healed, pray that the medical staff is able to do everything in their power to assist in this healing. Pray that during this time he and his family will be comforted and feel the Lord’s presence around them and the strength for each new day.

NYI Murder Mystery Night @ Bedford Village is Saturday October 14. Marie Wentz will hand out Christmas Shoeboxes NEXT Sunday October 15 between Church and Sunday School. There will be a signup sheet. If anyone would like a pillowcase dress to add to their box, please speak with Gwen. There is a list of items needed in the Foyer. Shoeboxes are due NO LATER then Sunday November 5. Any other questions, please speak with Marie Wentz.

Nominating Committee will meet on Monday October 16 at 7pm.

In One Accord Ministries is having their Fundraising Banquet on Tuesday October 17 from 6pm-8pm. The Board has purchased seating. Seats are still available. If you would like to go, please speak with Penny as soon as possible. 

Wednesday Evening Small Group will begin a study of John Bevere’s “The Awe of God” on October 18. Any questions, please speak with Marsha.

Men’s Movie and Wing Night is Saturday October 21 at 6pm. Bring your favorite wings and a side or dessert to share.

The Hayride/Bonfire at Imler’s God’s Country is Sunday October 22 at 5pm. Please bring a covered dish to share.

There will be a Kindness Outreach Prayer Tent at Heather’s Kup on Saturday October 28 from 9am-2pm. There is a sign up sheet.

Hello everyone.

Sandy Titmus called asking for prayer. She will be heading to Pittsburgh tomorrow to have a consultation with a surgeon regarding the amputation of her leg. 

She is asking for prayer for traveling mercies as Tara will be driving and has never driven in Pittsburgh.

Also pray that as she meets with her surgeon that God will put a sense of calmness and peace upon her.

We are having the church basement carpets scrubbed. They will be spraying scotch guard on the carpets and they cannot be walked on. THE BASEMENT WILL BE CLOSED THIS WEEK ON TUESDAY and WEDNESDAY. WEDNESDAY EVENING GROUPS WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE THE BASEMENT. NYI and PRE-TEEN Classes will meet in the Fellowship Hall.

Building & Grounds Meeting for October has been CANCELED.

First Friday Breakfast @ Denny’s is Friday October 3 at 8:30am.
