Prayer Requests

We received a prayer request from Liz for one of her neighbors, Norman Williams. Norman had surgery to remove a cancerous tumor from his abdomen. He is looking at 7-10 day in the hospital and then several weeks before he can begin to start back to his normal routine.

We ask that you pray for Norman’s healing and recovery; pray that the surgery goes as expected and that they are able to remove as much of the cancerous tumor as possible. Pray also for the medical staff working with him and also for his family. Pray that in the days to come that the Lord would make His presence known in an unmistakable way.

Also, we wanted to send out an update and ask you to continue to pray for Penny’s brother Alan Brown. He was having surgery to repair some hernias in his abdomen. They were able to repair one in his stomach but another one was in a location that was difficult to get to. Additionally, his gall bladder was inflamed so badly that they were not able to get to to remove it so they stopped the surgery. They later found that his gallbadder is misshapen. Theyare sending him to Pittsburgh to complete the surgery. Please pray for Alan and the medical staff working with him. Pray that his trip will be quick and uneventful; pray that they are able to go in and complete the repairs to the remaining hernias. Pray also for Alan’s recovery, that he would heal quickly and completely and that his recovery would not take long. Pray also for his family, pray for his wife Marti and son Cagney, as well as his mom Marie, and his brother and sisters.

Thank You Pastor Kevin

A Couple of Prayer Requests

We received a couple prayer requests from Sandy Titmus; first for Tom Wood, the son of one of Sandy’s friends. Tom has been taken to the hospital and is in need of a liver. The unfortunate thing is they are afraid he may be too weak to survive the surgery. So, we are asking that you pray for the Lord to strengthen Tom, give him the strength to not only survive the surgery and treatment but to also make a full recovery. Pray also that a liver is able to be transplanted into Tom’s body.  Also pray for Tom and his family to be comforted by the Lord and that they would find the Lord’s peace in each new day.

Next, Sandy’s friend Robert Bingham is still in the hospital in Pittsburgh after two surgeries on his knee which is badly infected. We ask that you pray for Robert’s healing that his knee is able to be fixed and the infection is eliminated. Pray that Robert is able to return home fully healed in the days to come and that he would continue to rely on the Lord.

Thank You
