Prayer Request

We received a prayer request from Lynn Freeman concerning her daughter Brittney. Brittney went into labor last evening, many weeks too soon. The doctors gave her medication to try to slow down the progression of labor, but were not able to get her stabilized. Brittney delivered Caius Glenn but he was too small and the medical team was not able to save him. He passed after 4.5 hours. Brittney is doing ok but we are asking that you pray for her during this time. Pray for strength to face each new day; pray for her to find peace in this time of mourning and pray that during this time that the Lord would wrap his arms around her and shroud her with his healing touch.

Thank You

Prayer Request

We have a couple of prayer requests.

The first is for Betty Thomas, Kitty Miller’s older sister. Betty’s cancer has come back and they have placed her in the hospital. We are asking that you pray for Betty and they family. Pray that Betty would be completely healed and that the Lord’s will is done. Please pray that she would be comforted, strengthened physically and encouraged spiritually as the medical team works with her. Pray that the family would be comforted as well and that their hope is found in the Lord; that He would give them peace for each new day.

Also, Arlene has shared an update for Leslie (Deitman) Castro; she is awaiting a transplant which could happen at any time in the next few days. Pray for Leslie to remain strong, and that the comfort of the Lord will be upon her, her family, and the family of the donor heart.

We received a prayer request from Carolyn Mock for one of her son’s friends, named Luke Stiffler. Luke was flown to Hershey with a bleed on his brain Tuesday evening. That is all we know at this point in time. We are asking you to lift Luke up in prayer, praying for God’s grace and mercy. Pray that the doctors will be able to correctly treat his problem, that the healing process would begin, that Luke would be completely healed and that he will make a full recovery. Pray also for his family and friends to be comforted during this time as Luke is a young man and to have such an injury with somebody this young is never expected.

Thank you.
