Hi Everybody
I received word that the Windber Church of the Nazarene suffered a fire in the early morning hours of Sunday August 21. I have been in contact with the church treasurer and offered our assistance in whatever they may need to rebuild, but I do not know what that might look like. I am reaching out to you to lift up this congregation of our brothers and sisters as they consider how to rebuild and move forward in ministry. Pray that the Lord would lift their spirits in this time and that they would not be discouraged. Pray the Lord would supply their needs in the days, months, weeks and even year to come.
With this in mind, I am asking to give a love offering to this church sometime over the next few weeks. We will hold a love offering march the next two weeks but will also collect love offering contributions over the next month. Please lift this congregation up in your prayers and ask the Lord what we can do to help.
