Hi Everybody
I received a prayer request from Richelle for her mother. Her mother is scheduled for cancer surgery on Thursday. However, before she is able to have the surgery she must successfully undergo a procedure tomorrow. Understandably her mom is concerned. We are asking that you would lift up Richelle’s mother in prayer as she goes for the procedure tomorrow; pray that all goes well and the procedure is a success. Pray also that the surgery will be able to be performed on Thursday as scheduled and it would also be a success. Pray for her mothers healing and for the Lord’s assurance for her and the family.

Marie Wentz began handing out Christmas Shoeboxes yesterday. She will have a signup sheet. If anyone would like a pillowcase dress to add to their box, please speak with Gwen. There is a list of items needed in the Foyer. Shoeboxes are due NO LATER then Sunday November 5. Any other questions, please speak with Marie Wentz.
Nominating Committee will meet TODAY at 7pm.
Wednesday Evening Small Group will begin a study of John Bevere’s “The Awe of God” THIS week. Any questions, please speak with Marsha.
Craft Night is THIS Thursday at 6:30pm.
Men’s Movie and Wing Night is Saturday October 21 at 6pm. Bring your favorite wings and a side or dessert to share.
The Hayride/Bonfire at Imler’s God’s Country is Sunday October 22 at 5pm. Please bring a covered dish to share.
There will be a Kindness Outreach Prayer Tent at Heather’s Kup on Saturday October 28 from 9am-2pm. There is a sign up sheet.
The Fellowship Meal planned for Sunday October 29 has been moved to Sunday November 5. Please bring a covered dish.
Part 1 of Our Annual Meeting and Elections will be held during Morning Worship on Sunday November 19.
Matthew is asking for donations of gently used shoes and boots. If you have any questions, please speak with him.

Hi Everybody
I received a prayer request from Lynn yesterday for her friend Stephanie’s mother. We had a prayer request for her a while back. As for her hip infection and pain she has made progress. However, she suffered a stroke Saturday evening and was incoherent. Please pray that the medical staff are able to sort out the issues she is facing and properly treat her needs. Also lift up her daughters so they may receive the peace and comfort at this time. Pray for healing and God’s will.

Hi Everybody
I received a prayer request from Penny earlier today for her cousin Josh Maish. Josh suffered 3 heart attacks yesterday and now is in the Altoona Hospital on life support, not showing any brain activity. We ask that you would pray for Josh to be healed, pray that the medical staff is able to do everything in their power to assist in this healing. Pray that during this time he and his family will be comforted and feel the Lord’s presence around them and the strength for each new day.

Board Meeting is THIS Thursday October 12 at 7pm.
Work Day is THIS Saturday October 14 at 8am.
NYI Murder Mystery Night @ Bedford Village is Saturday October 14. Marie Wentz will hand out Christmas Shoeboxes NEXT Sunday October 15 between Church and Sunday School. There will be a signup sheet.
