There is a Special Ministries Meeting on Thursday May 02 at 7pm.
First Friday Breakfast at Denny’s is May 03 at 8:30am.
There is a sign up sheet for Kids Slinky Action Zone Trip planned for Saturday May 04 at 1pm. If you are planning on bringing a friend, a permission form must be filled out and turned in to the church office BEFORE that day. They will not be allowed to attend without the form filled out. If you need a form, please speak with Penny.
Children’s Day will be celebrated NEXT Sunday May 05. We will also be hosting the Gideon’s that day.
We need 6-8 pictures of your teens for NYI Day. Pictures need to be sent to Ashley no later than May 12. Her email is in the bulletin.
NYI’s 30 Hour Famine has been moved to June 07 & 08.

Hi Everybody
I received a prayer request from Adena that was sent to her from Matt McGregor for His dad Don McGregor. Don is not doing well physically. He is in renal failure and they have placed him in hospice. At this time, they are doing comfort measures only.
We ask that you would pray for Don, and his family. Pray that during this time Don would be kept comfortable; and when the time comes, he would have a peaceful transition into the presence of the Lord. Also pray that during this time that the family would be comforted, that they would feel the presence of the Lord around them and they would have peace in their hearts at this time.

Hi Everybody
I received a prayer request from Kitty Miller for Butch Cooper. Butch is Missy’s father-in-law. Butch suffered a heart attack and is in the hospital. They have found no damage to his heart but they have identified three blockages. To treat the blockages, they will be performing a triple by-pass surgery tomorrow if they are able to get it scheduled.
We are asking that you lift Butch up in prayer, pray that the Lord place upon him, and his family, His peace and comfort. Pray also that the Lord would give the medical staff wisdom knowledge and skills necessary to complete this operation and bring Butch back to good health. Pray that as the days pass that Butch would make a complete recovery and return home, healed and refreshed.

Hi Everybody,
I received word from Becky Hardy that she spoke with her niece Melissa regarding her husband Ken. Ken has osteomyelitis, and sepsis and the doctors plan to amputate Ken’s leg today.
We are asked to lift him up in prayer. Pray for the medical staff to have wisdom to do what is right in treating Ken. Pray also that no matter what treatment option chosen, Ken will be healed by God’s hand and make a full recovery. Pray also for His family in this time to be comforted and lifted up.

There are several cancellations in the next few weeks and some planned activities have been moved to different dates. Please check over the Calendar of Coming Events in the bulletin.
Kids Slinky Action Trip has been moved to Saturday May 04.
The Annual Pro-Life Dinner is Friday April 26 at the Pennwood Bible Church. Dinner begins at 6pm. Doors open at 5pm. You have been pre-registered and will need to give your name when you arrive.
There will be a World Evangelism Fund Meal on Sunday April 28 following Sunday School. We will have more information next week.
