Hi Everybody

I just received a call from Nick Damjanovich asking that we pray for his mom. They are facing a serious situation and some difficult decisions that will need to be made in the very near future. Pray that in this time Nick and his family will feel the hand of God guiding and preparing the way for them. Pray that the decisions that are made will be done in accordance with God’s plan and that His will is completed. Pray that all involved will be at peace with the decisions and all will work out for the best.

Board Meeting is THIS Thursday September 14 at 7pm.

The 22nd Annual Walk for Life is NEXT Saturday September 16. Registration begins at 9am. The walk begins at 10am. There is more information on the Bulletin Board. If you would like to make a pledge, please speak with Juleen.

We will be collecting our Alabaster Offerings Sunday September 17.

We will be participating in Operation Christmas Child. Shoeboxes are ordered. There are papers in the foyer with approved items, so if you would like, you can begin purchasing items for your shoebox ahead of time. When we receive our shoeboxes, you will take one, fill it with approved items, and $10. Fill out the label, place it on the box, put a rubber band around it, and return it to the church. When we have more information, we will let you know.

Petersburg Church of the Nazarene is planning to host a Prayer Retreat with

Special Ministries Meeting is THIS Thursday September 07 at 7pm.

Work Day is Saturday September 09 at 8am.

Promotion Sunday is NEXT Sunday September 10.

There will be a Nature Walk @ Shawnee NEXT Sunday September 10 at 2pm. We will be meeting at the large parking lot near the beach area. Any questions, speak with Adena.

Hi everybody

I have a prayer request from Adena for her nephew Jordan Feaster. 

Jorden went for an infusion this morning and they found he is starting to get another abscess. The Dr told him he needed surgery immediately, so he’s headed to Pittsburg today. Not sure when they’ll do the surgery. Either tonight or tomorrow but he’s a little shook up. 

We are asking that you pray for Jordan to have peace about this surgery. Pray that the surgery goes well and he is able to make a full recovery as soon as possible.

Hello everyone. I have a few announcements.

This Wednesday evening August 30, we will be having an Ice Cream Social in the Fellowship Hall at 6:30pm. Everyone is welcome to attend. We will not be having individual classes that evening. Ice Cream will be provided. Please bring your favorite topping.

We will be participating in the Operation Christmas Child program. Shoeboxes have been ordered. We will have them available as soon as we receive them. A paper is in the foyer with the list of approved items. You will take a box, fill it with your items along with $10. You will then fill out the label, place it on your box, put a rubber band around the box and return it to the church. I believe the collection date for the boxes is sometime at the beginning of November. When we have more information, we will let you know.
