Penny asked that we put her brother Alan Brown on the prayer chain. He was admitted to the hospital yesterday with some heart issues. He is scheduled for a heart cath this afternoon. Please lift him up in your prayers as he is prepares for the cath and pray that the results will find something that easily treated and Alan is able to make a full recovery as soon as possible.

Hi Everybody

I received a prayer request for my daughter in law’s great aunt Greta Ruby. She is 83 years old and lives in New Jersey and has become very ill with sepsis and is currently in an ICU. They ask that we pray for the Lord’s will and the ability to accept whatever the outcome may be. Pray for the family to be comforted as they worry and wait.

For the next few weeks, we will be doing a study on Sunday Mornings called “A People of Grace.” Books are in the Foyer.

Board Meeting is Thursday August 10 at 7pm.

Work Day is Saturday August 12 at 8am.

ATTENTION NYI: We are remodeling the TEEN Room. We will be working on Saturday August 12 and Saturday August 26 beginning at 8am and possibly other days in between. We will let you know what those days are. If possible, please be here to help. We will feed you!!

NYI End of Summer Bash has been moved to Sunday August 13 at 2pm. It will be at Ronnie’s house.

There are envelopes in the Foyer for Our Dollar Drop on August 19. Please place $1 bills inside, DO NOT seal your envelope, and then place it in the offering plate. You do not need a separate envelope for every $1. Please have your envelopes turned in by Wednesday August 16.

There is a sign up sheet in the Foyer for the Kids Slinky Action Zone Trip on Saturday August 19 at 1pm. Permission forms are required, so if you are bringing a friend, they will need to fill out a form and have it back to the church by Wednesday August 16. Any questions, please speak with Adena.

We will be collecting a LOVE OFFERING NEXT Sunday August 06 to help our kids with their VBS fundraising project.

Celebrate Recovery will be having special music by “LivingSong” tonight. This will begin at 6:30pm. Everyone is welcome to attend.

The Building & Grounds Meeting has been moved to THIS Tuesday August 1 at 7pm.

First Friday Breakfast is August 4 at 8:30am.

HI Everybody

I received a message from Lynn, saying that she suffered a fall last evening and broke her ankle. She is in need of a set of child’s crutches because the adult crutches she has are too tall and difficult as well as dangerous for her to use. If you have a set of crutches she may be able to borrow, please get in touch with me and I can arrange to get them to her. She will return them when they no longer needed.

Also keep her in your prayers as she heals, that the Lord would remove any pain and help her to heal completely as soon as possible.
