Hi Everybody

I received a prayer request for Jody Shaffer. Jody is the mother-in-law of one of Shannon Browns coworkers. Jody coded, after suffering an arterial lung bleed. She lost a large amount of blood and is in a Pittsburgh ICU being sedated. She is facing a potential left lung removal or transplant.

We are asking that you would lift Jody and her family up in your prayers. Pray that she would experience a miraculous healing touch of our Lord. Pray that the lung removal is not necessary and that she is able to heal and make a full recovery. I am also asking that you lift up her family and friends at this time as the situation seems very dire. Pray that their fears are met with a confidence that only the Lord can give.

Hi Everybody

I received a prayer request from Adena and Kelly for a friend, whose husband has been hospitalized in the Altoona ICU with pneumonia and other health issues. Adena indicated that the situation doesn’t look good.

We ask that you would pray for this gentleman and his wife as the doctors do what they can to heal this man. Pray that the lungs would be cleared, that the other concerns would be eliminated by the healing touch of God. Pray that this man would make a complete recovery and his family would be able to be reunited in their home.

Hi Everybody

I received a prayer request from Penny for Katelynn Thomas. Katelynn is a 17 year old who is having medical issues from having covid which have caused her to be pulled from school. Because of this she is dealing with depression.

We ask that you would lift her in your prayers. Pray that in the days to come the complications from covid will go away and that she would be able to return to her school. Pray that the Lord would lift her spirit and give her a brighter outlook.

I received a prayer request from Adena for her friend Tara Alton. Tara is going to be having surgery this morning to repair an injury to her shoulder.

We ask that you would lift her up in prayer; that the surgery would go well, that there would be no complications, and everything would be repaired according to plan. We also ask that you would pray that in the days to come she would make a speedy and complete recovery.

Good morning.

We received a prayer request for Marie Brown’s daughter in law Marti.

She was taken to the hospital last evening and admitted with kidney stones.

Marti has 2 large stones that are now blocking her kidneys. She will be having surgery today or tomorrow to remove them.

Please pray that Marti’s pain will be managed. Pray that the surgery is successful and that her recovery time is quick. Pray for her family as they wait to hear on her condition.

We are collecting Easter Candy until Wednesday March 13. All candy must be individually wrapped and small enough to fit into a plastic egg. Please no chocolate or nuts. There will be a tote in the Foyer.

NYI will fill eggs on Saturday March 16 at 10am. This is a Service Project.

Kids will be going Bowling on Saturday March 16 at 1pm. Permission forms must be on file at the church office to attend. If you are bringing a friend, please speak with Penny for a form. There will be a sign up sheet passed THIS Sunday.

Hi Everybody

I received word that Misty Claar’s mother, Carol Cessna, passed away Tuesday morning after a long battle with cancer. We are asking that you would lift up Misty, Matthew, Jonah and Lily, as well as the entire Cessna family during this time of grieving. Pray that they would feel the Lord’s presence and be comforted. Pray that they will find strength for each new day and that in the days to come that the Lord’s peace would fall fresh upon them.

There will be a Kindness Outreach Laundry Wash ‘n Dry on February 24 from 10am-2pm. A sign up sheet is in the Foyer. We need at least 2 people for each time slot. Any questions, please speak with Pastor Kevin or Jan.

Good morning. I received a prayer request from Ronnie for a former co-worker’s mom. Her name is Amy Churner.

Amy had cancer on her tongue some time ago and had treatment. The cancer reappeared just before Christmas and she again had treatment. The doctors found more cancer 2 weeks ago and she had surgery last week.

Please pray for Amy and her family that they do not become discouraged. Pray that the doctors will find the best treatment for her and that she will finally be healed.
